Megha Ramesh, daughter of businessman Biju Ramesh, who owns the Rajadhani Group, married Ajay Krishnan, son of former Minister and MLA Adoor Prakash.

Wedding was held at Venpalavattom Sree Bhagavathy Temple at Thiruvananthapuram. Biju Ramesh’s daughter is Megha, while Adoor Prakash’s son is Ajay Krishna.

Biju Ramesh has built a magnificent wedding venue at Rajadhani Gardens in Venpalavattom here to roll out a royal welcome to his 20,000 odd guests.

The kathir mandap is built in the model of Akshardham in New Delhi and the main entrance is modelled on the Mysore palace.

Around 300 workers were employed for building the wedding venue and it took 40 days for them to complete it.

There was an open-air auditorium in front of the mandap with a seating capacity of 15,000 persons. Rajadhani Hotel has made special arrangement for 6,000 people to dine together. Several cultural programmes was also there as part of the wedding.

The attendees included former Union minister Vayalar Ravi, PJ Kurien, former Kerala Assembly Speaker N Sakthan, former Kerala minister Aryadan Mohammad, former Kerala minister, Speaker and Andaman and Nicobar Lt Governor Vakkom Purushottaman and Tamil Nadu Minister S P Velu Mani. Vigilance DGP Jacob Thomas and Additional Chief Secretary Sheela Thomas were also present.
